Marty serves as office manager. She has over two decades of experience in all aspects of the orthodontic office, including clinical assisting. Her skills and expertise are focused on coordination of new patient treatment, management of your account, and insurance processing. Marty has three adult "kids" and five grandchildren. She is a native Eastsider who graduated from Sammamish High School. Marty and her husband are active in the Corvette Marque Club of Seattle.

"I like to solve challenges for our patients, such dealing with unusual circumstances and optimizing flexible spending benefits."

Calysta hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico. While working as an orthodontic assistant she pursued a degree in Accounting at the University of New Mexico. After working in the business field she realized that interaction with people and hands on work with patients was something she really enjoyed. She has over 2 decades of clinical experience, going on nine years in our practice.

She enjoys reading, good jokes, family and working with her hands on home projects. She loves to travel all over and have been to several different countries as well as most of the United States. She enjoys different sports, and she particularly enjoys ski trips with family in Montana and New Mexico.

"I love working in Dr. Schur's practice. Being here this long it is no longer seems like a job; we've become family. We are all friends and enjoy each other. It is fantastic to have a job that you love and to work with people you love. I really enjoy people and our patients are the best. I love to care for and kid our patients, and make the appointments fun. I want to make their visits with us as comfortable as possible."

Amber serves you as scheduling coordinator. Her focus is on precise scheduling, with the goal of enhancing the efficiency of your treatment. She accomplishes this by scheduling visits so that you can be seen in a prompt manner with adequate time for optimal adjustments. Amber moved here from sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. After years in the desert sun she opted to rehydrate in Washington. When she's not at work she spends her time with her husband raising and chasing their beautiful five year old and toddler daughters. Their family pet is a teacup Chiuaua, Estrella. Amber's husband Dave coaches local premier and high school soccer teams.

Julie has a decade of experience in the dental field and she has found a passion for orthodontics. She serves as a clinical technician.

Julie was born and raised in Renton, WA. She has been happily married for 9 years. She has two boys, Mannie and Tuie. She enjoys spending her time at her boys' baseball and football games.

Julie has found her place in Dr. Schur's office, where she says it's like her second family and a place she can help create beautiful smiles.

Kat sparked an interest to work in the field of orthodontics after she graduated from Lake Washington Technical College's Dental Assistant Program in 2005. In addition to working with Dr. Schur she is currently attending the University of Washington, pursuing a degree in Psychology. In her spare time she enjoys baking sweets, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Kat enjoys the fun atmosphere her co-workers and patients bring to the office and looks forward to playing "who's this?" with everyone, where we guess the singer or band on the radio. She enjoys seeing the transformation over time and the excitement on patient's faces at the end of treatment. Kat is currently on academic leave.
