A big thank you to all who participated in the blood drive!
The mobile blood bank was rocking with activity as a steady stream of donors cheerfully donated and socialized with other donors and the friendly staff from Bloodworks NW. We are happy to report with we met our donation goals, and we look forward to hosting another blood drive next year! Did you know that one unit of donated blood can save the life of three infants in need? This is a great way to help others in the local community, without spending a dime. Besides the satisfaction of helping others, you get free juice and cookies!
What if you want to donate but you couldn’t attend our blood drive?
There is a Bloodworks Northwest donation center locate at 1021 112th Avenue NE in Bellevue. You can call them at (425) 453-4011 to make an appoint. Click here for directions. Donating blood is surprisingly easy and painless. Not everyone can donate, but those who can are encouraged to do so.
Major props to Tina!
