Have you ever considered enhancing your confidence and appearance through smile design

Here at Schur Orthodontics, your Bellevue orthodontist, we have helped many patients achieve the smiles of their dreams using personalized smile design treatment plansBecause every patient’s dental needs and goals are different, it’s vital to sit down and discuss your personal concerns and desires for your smile before recommending any specific treatment. A smile design consultation is specifically tailored to help Dr. Schur learn more about your current dental health as well as your smile enhancement goals so that he can team up with your dentist in determining the best treatment options for you.
Smile design, it's your turn at Bellevue orthodontist Dr. Jeffrey Schur

How to prepare for your smile design consultation with Bellevue Orthodontist Dr. Jeffrey Schur

The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) recommends you ask yourself the following questions before your appointment, so you can communicate openly what you wish for your smile:

  1. What shade of white do you want your teeth to be: a natural shade, a whiter‐than‐white shade, or somewhere in between?
  2. Are you satisfied with the amount of teeth showing when your lips are relaxed and when you smile?
  3. Are you looking for perfectly aligned teeth or are you happy with slight variations?
  4. Are you happy with the amount of gum showing when you smile?

What to expect during your Bellevue smile design evaluation at Schur Orthodontics

When you call to schedule your appointment, let us know you’d like to discuss options for improving your smile. Dr. Schur is happy to work directly with you and your dentist to help choose a treatment plan you’re comfortable with pursuing. Following your initial visit, Dr. Schur will discuss your desires and his findings with your dentist, because a collaborative effort will yield the best treatment options for you as an individual. Diagnostic records will most likely be required as part of the diagnostic and planning of your treatment. These include photographs, molds of your teeth so that plaster models can be made, and x-rays. Once Dr. Schur has discussed your needs and desires with your dentist, he will meet with you to go over your records, treatment options, and coordination with your dental visits. During this smile design consultation visit he will discuss how orthodontic treatment will enhance any other treatment that your dentist may provide.
