Scheduling Coordinator

I serve our patients as the Scheduling Coordinator. I love to help people and to see how orthodontics makes people happy and improves their lives is a real joy. One way that I help people is to not only find convenient times for their treatment here, but I coordinate visits to other offices for them as well. Patients love when we can group appointments in a way that minimizes the number of trips they have to make. This office feels like home to me, which is why I drive an hour each way to be part of this team. It’s a joy to come to work because I love the patients and the families that we work with here, and our focus on treating people to the best of our abilities makes it a deeply rewarding experience. In my time off, I enjoy spending time with my family, including our pets, and I am a passionate Sounders and Seahawks fan!

I've always wanted to work in dentistry, and I initially thought orthodontics would be fun and interesting. Now that I’ve worked as a Clinical Orthodontic Assistant for 12 years, I can’t imagine doing anything else. I enjoy doing precise, intricate tasks, and orthodontic treatment is all about that. I enjoy getting to know our patients and watching their smiles develop. Because I am so comfortable here, I feel I’ve developed a second family and a home away from home. In my time off, I enjoy taking walks with my family and our dog Reko.

My position at Schur Orthodontics is Clinical Orthodontic Assistant. I was initially attracted to orthodontics because people are excited to have their smiles and bites perfected, and I wanted to be part of that! I have found this to be true for over 15 years. I also enjoy interacting with the wide variety of people we see in the office, from kids to adults. My interests include equestrian dressage, movies, books, and spending time with family and friends.
